Interference Hunting
RF interference arises when an unwanted “signal” of similar frequency occurs at the same time as a data signal. It can come from a variety of sources, such as a microwave ovens, mobile phones or bluetooth devices and manifests itself as sporadic decode errors disrupting the flow of data and degrading network performance.
The ability to find a known interferer is not always an easy task. However, having the right tools is key to interference hunting.
